Standing at the foot of the Long Mynd at the gateway to Carding Mill Valley, yet only a short level walk from the centre of the market town of Church Stretton, Arden House is a fine Arts and Crafts country residence, surrounded by The Shropshire Hills with far reaching views across this area of Outstanding Natural Beauty.

The Arts and Crafts Movement was an innovative group of artists, writers and designers with a philosophy based on traditional values, high standards and attention to detail. We share these principles and offer our guests a warm welcome and the opportunity to create lasting memories from the comfort of our weekend getaway.

Our aim is to provide much more than a room for the night. We offer personal service and can, if required, help with bespoke itineraries to savour the fine local food, events to experience and wonderful places to visit.

Arden House has ample parking and is ideally situated for discovering the delights of Shropshire with the historic towns of Shrewsbury, Ironbridge, Much Wenlock and the renowned food mecca of Ludlow all just 30 minutes away by car.
